RESEARCH PROJECT

My research project topic is LOGISTICS. I choose this topic because it's very related on what I want to study at the university and I thought that it could be like a little prepearing for me. At the biginning I wanted to do a Market Study (estudi de mercat), this topis is related on logistics. My theacher told me that a Market Study is very general and she told me to do my research project on Logistics because it's the first one in the high school, and I accept it!!!! Now that I'm finishing it, I'm always thinking why I chose thid topic because all the information I found was in english so I had to translate it to Catalan I most of the information was wrong so I had to go to Barcelona to the National Library to take some books to contrast all the information.
Now I think that I have done a brilliant job but I spend so many time in front of the computer reading and reading.

1st TERM REFLECTION

At the end of every term I like to do a Self evaluation to see what I have to improve or what I have to change. 

To start my self evaluation, I want to say that for the next ter I will not leave the blog for the last moment. If you do things at the last moment it can happend that you don't have enough time to do it or you don't have enough inspiration or so many things.

For the next term I have to improve my mark on Spanish History and Filosophy because I have a five on History and I failed Filosophy. I want to finish batxillerat with a minimum mark of seven so I have to raise my marks!!! 

I very happy with my marks on Economics and Maths because I have an eight on Economics and a seven on Maths so I can be vey proud of my marks on those subjects this term!!!

MY SUMMER

I spend all my summer working on a fruit shop in Sant Pere Pescador. I worked from nine to one and from four to eight, from Monday to Saturday. At the biginning it was a bit hard, but then it was like my house. Apart from working, I hanged out with my friends too. We went to waikiki, to chic, we spend Sundays sunbathing on the beach, we played beach volley with deutch "guiris" and we did more amazing things. On the 9th of September, my family and I went to Barcelona to visit the famili and we stayed ther until the 11th for the protest march. That day was amazing, I felt like an ant in the middle of an enormous forest. 
I wanted to summarize my summer in just a phrase, but I can't so I will show you some pictures of it.

PD: I did a movie maker, but I can't postit on the blog. I don't know why!!

BARACK OBAMA

USA's president Barack Obama celebrate his vitory with his family in the white house. He had a  very difficult race against Mitt Romney but at the end Romney failed against Obama and now he will preside for four more years. He had votes from a lot of states as New Hamshire Michigan, New Mexico, Iowa, Virginia, Colorado, Ohio, Minesota...
Obama thankes each American who voted him. He finished his speech with his words "Whether I earned your vote or not, I have listened to you, I have learned from you and you have made me a better president".


I think that Obama is an amazing president and he had changed the United States of America. He is an American idol for "old" people as singers or actors are for "young" people.

The tunnel of the wind opens today to the big public and it is almost full until june 2013

The Windoor Real Fly Túnel del Vent d'Empuriabrava known as Túnel del Vent, had opend today. After many years of negociations and projections the Tunel del vent is a reality. In fact it started to work a month ago because they were testing it. It will have two functions, the 30% of the hours will be reserved for normal citizens and the res will be reserved for parachuting specialists. flying during an hour in the Túnel del Vent it's like 60 jumps from an aeroplane.


I think that it is an amazing think for l'Alt Empordà to have it here  because it will bring people from round the world to try this túnel del vent. As the title say, there are bookings until june 2013.

LO IMPOSIBLE

In just 10 days it became the most watched film in Spain. Lo imposible is based on a real story that happend in a family during the 2004 Thailandia's tsunami. This family arrived there two days before the tsunami ocurred. That film explains how the family survives the disaster. Luckily all the family came back home safely.

I saw this film and I can say that is the most shockig film I have ever seen. I think that they will win a lot of awards and prices. I think that is a very very different way to see what happend that day.

FIGHT FOR THE TITLE: VETTEL vs ALONSO.

The race started wtih  light rain and it make the start a bit difficult. A feew laps latter the rain stopped and all the pilots had to go to the "pit stop" to change the wheals. At the beginning some pilots were involved in a car accident so, many of them couldn't finish the race. Sebastian Vettel had a problem on the first lap so he  lost a feew places. During the race Felipe Massa helped Alonso every time he could. Fernando Alonso Could win the race if Vettel broke down his car or if he finished behind the 10th place so he couldn't won any points. At the end Fernando finished 2nd and Felipe Massa 3rd but Vettel finished 6th so Sebastian won the F1 world chapion ship. 


In my opinion I think that they fight very hard to reach that level, but I'm an Alonso suporter so I wantet to see Alonso on the top of the F1 world champion list. Vettel worked vey hard during all the season, and he has amazings engineers. At the biginning of the season everithing was very equaled but during all the races Red bull, Mc Laren and Ferrari were standing out, so they fight very hard to win the F1 world champion ship.

SELF EVALUATION

Friday the 9th Homa, Fato and I did the Oral presentation, Our topyc was HOW WOMEN CHANGE TEIR APPEARENCE!!
To do our oral presentation, we spend so many time serching information on the net, and I think we did a good reserch.
When we showed to the class the presentation, I think that we could do it better. For the next presentation I have to improve my pronunciation and I don't have to read from the paper. It's hard to explain what you want to tell if you don't have an amazin vocabulary. I think that for the next oral presentation I'll have to search specific vocabulary. 
However I think that we did a good job!!!!

MY DREAM

Hey Sonia!!!

As you said in class this is our last year in the high school and we can't waste our time.

I have everything planned from now on untill my last year at university. I have to pass batxillerat with a seven. As I saved money during all those years, next summer I will travel abroad. In July I will go to Los Angeles to practice English and then the first half of August I will go to Colombia to visit some friends That I made a summer ago in Canada!

After the summer I will start the university in Barcelona. I want to study Gestió Aeronàutica at the Autonomus University in Sabadell. This degree will take me four years and then I will go to work abroad if I don't find nothing here.

I don't know if I'm going to do something more or I will change all my plans but this is what I want to do.

BARÇA vs ZARAGOZA WAS A STUNNING SHOW (4- 0)

The international break certainly hasn’t knocked Barça off their stride, as Guardiola’s team got back into the Spanish League’s action with a convincing 4-0 win over Zaragoza at the Camp Nou, with some exquisite football, particularly in the first 45 minutes. With first half goals from Piqué and Messi, the game was pretty much sorted at the break and Puyol’s third and a fourth from Villa rounded off another stunning show of authority, with no signs of rustiness or tiredness following the players’ international exertions.

This team every days plays better. Some people says that it's only luck, but if we thougt that, we always are lucky :P Guardiola is a great coach with very clear ideas. And I think that when guardiola leave Barça, this team will go down. We won't have another coach like guardiola, he is wonderfull.

J: this weekend I went to my aunt's wedding. It hasn't been a perfecte wedding. I had a very hard time!

E: Really? What happened?

J: A lot of things.

J: When I finished painting my nails I got dressed...

E: OHH Joana! Don't tell e that your beautiful dress got dirty with the nail polish?

J: Yeeeeees!! :( I was very silly but I was in a hurry. My mother didn't wake me up because our rabbit had given birth.

E: Oh my God! That's too much before starting the ceremony. This is your bad thing or it continue...?

J: Oh no, this is only the biginning. When I was going to the curch I tripped up with the step.

E: Don't worry girl, this could happen to anyone, anywhere and at anytime.

J: Of course but not in a weading.

E: Did it hurt?

J: At first yes, but then I forgot everything, because when I was taking a photo to the engaged couple I pushed the photograher and he made a photo of the priest instead of the bride and the bride groom.

E: What a shame. I went to a zoological garden. I had a great time because I stayed there with my cousin and the little one is two month old. He's very cute.

J: OH, he seems so pretty. When I was in the restaurant with my rude cousins, one of the, drank the water with his nose.

E: Oh my God, you have a very weird cousin. Whith my cousins I visited a lot of animals: zebras, lions, beers, elephants, penguins, snakes, tigers, kangaroos and a very strange fishes, you know the fish could be transaprent or with a lot of clours.

J: You had a short and an exiting weekend.

E: It was wonderful.

J: My weekend ends, when I broke the heel of my neew shoes getting off the car.

E: REaaly? My God, you had an awful weekend. I hope the next one will be better.

J: Thanks, I hate to go, my mum is waiting for the lunch. Bye

SPAIN'S "INDIGNATS" LEAD INTERNATIONAL PROTEST DAY

Five months after the first mass rally in Madrid, the "Indignant" protest movement is back. Activists are mounting an international day of protest on Saturday under the slogan: "Unite for global change."

The indignats it's a movement that asks for equality for all the people. They are against the bad politics who always are stilling from everywhere. If I wasn't an student I will be with the "indignats" because they are asking for something real. The ask why do we have bad politics? or why do we have no money but the politics have like 2 houses and 3 cars? those are questions that anyone can answer and the "indignats" are asking for the solution.

RISING FROM BENEATH THE WAVES: A neew canary Island emerges as underwater volcano hits the surface

A brand neew Canary Island is emerging from the sea as an underwater volcano bubbles to the surface. Maga off the Canary Isalnd of El Hierro has been spewing 20 metres high as the sea boils with a smell of sulphur. As it grows and gets closer to the surface, more and more debris such as stones start to shoot out of hte volcano which, until now, has only shown its explosive power below the surface. If this situation continues they will have to choose a name for a neew island. this can have bad effects on the climate because the volcano throw a lot of toxic gases, it's affecting the nature from la Restinga and her sorroundings.

A SUMMARY OF MY LITTLE LIFE

I was born in Figueres in 19995. I live in Vilamacolum, in the same house that I lived before. But three years ago we ade works and now everithing is different. My earliest memory isn't very clear, I remember a few things about it, like some summers tha I sepnd I the Basque Country or when I went to visit some friend in Miami, but I remember well my first day at primari school. My teacher's name was Núria and I had a great time on my first class.I've been at IES Castelló d'Empúries for four years and yhis is the fifth. I've changed a lot since I was young. I think that now I'm more talkative and my hair is completely different, before it was very short and now is long. In the future I don't know exactly whant I want to bee but I would like to be a cooker. Before I'm old I really want to go back to NY and if it's possible, keep me living there. AAHH!! I'm a super Barça fan.

CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN

Cheaper by the dozen is a comedy film by Shawn Levy. The stars in this film are Steve Martin, Bonnie Hunt and Hilary Duff.

The Bakers, a family of 12, move from small-town Illinois to the big city after Tom Baker gets his dream job to coach his alma mater's footbll team. Meanwhile, his wife also gets her dream of getting her book published. Whille she's away promoting the boo, Tom has a hard time keeping the house in oreder while at the sime time coaching hos football team, as the once happy family starts falling apart.

I love this film because it's very entertaining and you laugh during all the 94 minutes. I recomend this film to everyone because you can watch it with all your family on a Sunday afternoon.

BARÇA vs MILAN

On the 13st September I went to see a football match in Barcelona. I went to see Barça - Milan. It wasn't a perfecte match becaus they tie 2 - 2.

I went to Figueres to catch the bus from "La penya Blaugrana de Figueres" to go to Barcelona. We spend all the trip singing.

When we arrived in the Stadium everyone went to their seats. I was in the first tier, line 30 on the left corner. Near me there were the "Almogàvers" (The "Almogàvers" are the biggest club of Barça fans in Catalonia. They go to every match to support their favourite team.) In my other side I had an old man who explain me all the match ( the tactics, the positions, ...) and the man that I had on my back, started to cry when Milan did the fisrt point and he didn't stop crying until Barça scored the second goal.

When the match finished I wasn't happy at all, but it was a great experience! I want to repeat it again.

LA OREJA DE VAN GOGH

On the 21st October (friday), Eva, Marina and I went on a concert in Girona(Fontejau). We went to see la Oreja de Van Gogh. LODVG group was created in 1996 and they are from San Sebastián. In 2008 Leire (the actual singer) entered in it, as the singer (Amaia Montero) left from it. During these years, the have brought out several CDs ("A las cinco en el Astoria", " El viaje de Coperpot"... and the last one "Cometas por el cielo") The last album has more than eleven songs and it was posted on 13th of September of 2011.

The concert started at 22pm and it finished at midnight.

At frst we weren't wery shure to go or not because we didn't know many songs but finally we decided to go.

When we arrived there, it was empty but when the concert started, all the stadium was very full. We had to wait an hour until the concert started.

They started the concert with a song from they neew album but then they mixed old sogs with the neew ones.

I had a great time there with Eva and Marina. We sing all the songs that we keew!! It was a great experience and I want to repeat it!!
