BARÇA vs ZARAGOZA WAS A STUNNING SHOW (4- 0)

The international break certainly hasn’t knocked Barça off their stride, as Guardiola’s team got back into the Spanish League’s action with a convincing 4-0 win over Zaragoza at the Camp Nou, with some exquisite football, particularly in the first 45 minutes. With first half goals from Piqué and Messi, the game was pretty much sorted at the break and Puyol’s third and a fourth from Villa rounded off another stunning show of authority, with no signs of rustiness or tiredness following the players’ international exertions.

This team every days plays better. Some people says that it's only luck, but if we thougt that, we always are lucky :P Guardiola is a great coach with very clear ideas. And I think that when guardiola leave Barça, this team will go down. We won't have another coach like guardiola, he is wonderfull.

J: this weekend I went to my aunt's wedding. It hasn't been a perfecte wedding. I had a very hard time!

E: Really? What happened?

J: A lot of things.

J: When I finished painting my nails I got dressed...

E: OHH Joana! Don't tell e that your beautiful dress got dirty with the nail polish?

J: Yeeeeees!! :( I was very silly but I was in a hurry. My mother didn't wake me up because our rabbit had given birth.

E: Oh my God! That's too much before starting the ceremony. This is your bad thing or it continue...?

J: Oh no, this is only the biginning. When I was going to the curch I tripped up with the step.

E: Don't worry girl, this could happen to anyone, anywhere and at anytime.

J: Of course but not in a weading.

E: Did it hurt?

J: At first yes, but then I forgot everything, because when I was taking a photo to the engaged couple I pushed the photograher and he made a photo of the priest instead of the bride and the bride groom.

E: What a shame. I went to a zoological garden. I had a great time because I stayed there with my cousin and the little one is two month old. He's very cute.

J: OH, he seems so pretty. When I was in the restaurant with my rude cousins, one of the, drank the water with his nose.

E: Oh my God, you have a very weird cousin. Whith my cousins I visited a lot of animals: zebras, lions, beers, elephants, penguins, snakes, tigers, kangaroos and a very strange fishes, you know the fish could be transaprent or with a lot of clours.

J: You had a short and an exiting weekend.

E: It was wonderful.

J: My weekend ends, when I broke the heel of my neew shoes getting off the car.

E: REaaly? My God, you had an awful weekend. I hope the next one will be better.

SPAIN'S "INDIGNATS" LEAD INTERNATIONAL PROTEST DAY

Five months after the first mass rally in Madrid, the "Indignant" protest movement is back. Activists are mounting an international day of protest on Saturday under the slogan: "Unite for global change."

The indignats it's a movement that asks for equality for all the people. They are against the bad politics who always are stilling from everywhere. If I wasn't an student I will be with the "indignats" because they are asking for something real. The ask why do we have bad politics? or why do we have no money but the politics have like 2 houses and 3 cars? those are questions that anyone can answer and the "indignats" are asking for the solution.

RISING FROM BENEATH THE WAVES: A neew canary Island emerges as underwater volcano hits the surface

A brand neew Canary Island is emerging from the sea as an underwater volcano bubbles to the surface. Maga off the Canary Isalnd of El Hierro has been spewing 20 metres high as the sea boils with a smell of sulphur. As it grows and gets closer to the surface, more and more debris such as stones start to shoot out of hte volcano which, until now, has only shown its explosive power below the surface. If this situation continues they will have to choose a name for a neew island. this can have bad effects on the climate because the volcano throw a lot of toxic gases, it's affecting the nature from la Restinga and her sorroundings.

A SUMMARY OF MY LITTLE LIFE

I was born in Figueres in 19995. I live in Vilamacolum, in the same house that I lived before. But three years ago we ade works and now everithing is different. My earliest memory isn't very clear, I remember a few things about it, like some summers tha I sepnd I the Basque Country or when I went to visit some friend in Miami, but I remember well my first day at primari school. My teacher's name was Núria and I had a great time on my first class.I've been at IES Castelló d'Empúries for four years and yhis is the fifth. I've changed a lot since I was young. I think that now I'm more talkative and my hair is completely different, before it was very short and now is long. In the future I don't know exactly whant I want to bee but I would like to be a cooker. Before I'm old I really want to go back to NY and if it's possible, keep me living there. AAHH!! I'm a super Barça fan.

CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN

Cheaper by the dozen is a comedy film by Shawn Levy. The stars in this film are Steve Martin, Bonnie Hunt and Hilary Duff.

The Bakers, a family of 12, move from small-town Illinois to the big city after Tom Baker gets his dream job to coach his alma mater's footbll team. Meanwhile, his wife also gets her dream of getting her book published. Whille she's away promoting the boo, Tom has a hard time keeping the house in oreder while at the sime time coaching hos football team, as the once happy family starts falling apart.

I love this film because it's very entertaining and you laugh during all the 94 minutes. I recomend this film to everyone because you can watch it with all your family on a Sunday afternoon.

BARÇA vs MILAN

On the 13st September I went to see a football match in Barcelona. I went to see Barça - Milan. It wasn't a perfecte match becaus they tie 2 - 2.

I went to Figueres to catch the bus from "La penya Blaugrana de Figueres" to go to Barcelona. We spend all the trip singing.

When we arrived in the Stadium everyone went to their seats. I was in the first tier, line 30 on the left corner. Near me there were the "Almogàvers" (The "Almogàvers" are the biggest club of Barça fans in Catalonia. They go to every match to support their favourite team.) In my other side I had an old man who explain me all the match ( the tactics, the positions, ...) and the man that I had on my back, started to cry when Milan did the fisrt point and he didn't stop crying until Barça scored the second goal.

When the match finished I wasn't happy at all, but it was a great experience! I want to repeat it again.

LA OREJA DE VAN GOGH

On the 21st October (friday), Eva, Marina and I went on a concert in Girona(Fontejau). We went to see la Oreja de Van Gogh. LODVG group was created in 1996 and they are from San Sebastián. In 2008 Leire (the actual singer) entered in it, as the singer (Amaia Montero) left from it. During these years, the have brought out several CDs ("A las cinco en el Astoria", " El viaje de Coperpot"... and the last one "Cometas por el cielo") The last album has more than eleven songs and it was posted on 13th of September of 2011.

The concert started at 22pm and it finished at midnight.

At frst we weren't wery shure to go or not because we didn't know many songs but finally we decided to go.

When we arrived there, it was empty but when the concert started, all the stadium was very full. We had to wait an hour until the concert started.

They started the concert with a song from they neew album but then they mixed old sogs with the neew ones.

I had a great time there with Eva and Marina. We sing all the songs that we keew!! It was a great experience and I want to repeat it!!

MARCO SIMONCELLI DIES AFTER Moto GP CRASH IN SEPANG

Marco Simoncelli has died from the injuries he get in a crash on the second lap of the Malaysian Grand Prix.He was 24. Simoncelli was fighting for the fourth place with Alvaro Bautista when he lost the front of his bie and slid across teh circuit, into the path of Colin Edwards and Valentino Rossi. Both hit the Italian rider. During the incident Simoncelli's helmet come off. He was taken by ambulance to the circuit's medical center, but at 4:56 pm local tie, it was announced that simoncelli was dead. Evrybody was shocked after this accident, specially his friend Valentino Rossi.

Dani Pedrose once said that the only think that Simoncelli had in his head was hair, and I think the same as Pedrosa.

I think that anyone has to die in this way, but Simoncelli was a very agressive runner. Some people think that Simoncelli died immediateli, but some people think that he died in the Medical Center. And I have a very very big question, If Simoncelli has died immediately, why the doctors tried to revive Simoncelli fro 45 minutes?

ADRIAN MOLE vs. THIRTEEN

The topic of Adrian Mole and Thirteen it's very similar, but at the same time it's very different. Adrian (he is the main character of the book) and Tracy (she is the main character of the film) are thirteen years old. The first similarity is that in both stories, the parents are separeted, that's the biggest problem that Tracy and Adrian have. Another similarity is that in both stories each character (Adrian and Tracy) have a best friend but at the end they are enemies. And I think that the biggest similarity is that in both stories they talk about sex, alcohol, drugs... when Tracy meets Evie (she is the biggest bad influence for tracy) Tracy starts to drink, she pratice sex with guys who hardly knows, her behavior at home is very bad and both girls get drug at Tracy's home. Adrian has the same problems but not as serious as Tracy's. I think that there aren't many diferencies between each story. Both topics are very triking but the film is very hard.

I will explain you my summer because I think that you know me enough.

This summer I traveled to Canada. On the 3^rd of July I took a plane from Barcelona to Toronto and then another to Ottawa. The plane was very late and we arrived at 1am at Ottawa’s Airport but we had to arrive at 8pm. I was staying there with a Jamaican family. From Monday to Friday, from 9am to 4pm I went to NSL Camps from National School of Languages at Elmwood School. There we had classes from 9am to 12:30pm and activities from 1:30pm to 4pm. The classes were very interestings, we red a book called Saving Private Ryan and at the end we saw the film, we did like 4 or 5 debates, we did grammar and vocabulary, and every one at class had to choose 2 topics to talk about and then we had to do a 30 minutes oral presentation. Every day to begin the class the teacher gave us a paper to do a writing. At the end of the month we did de “graduation” and the head teacher gave us a certificate. On Saturdays we did excursions, we visited Montreal, the Niagara Falls, the aboriginal people, we did a barbecue and the last Saturday we went to a water park called Calypso. At the Camps there were people from around the world, there were people from Hungary, Russia, Colombia, South Arabia, Japan, China, Spain…

On the 30^th we leave Ottawa and we arrived in Barcelona on the 31^st.

During my stay in Canada my fluency had improved a lot and my vocabulary too.

CANADA

Hello everybody!!

Today I will talk about my experience in Ottawa (Canada). My oral presentation is not as interesting as Tiziana’s but I think that it’s an amazing experience.

-First I will sumarize in what consist the whole stay in Canada.
-Then I will explain a little bit about the school and the classes.
-After that I will tell you about the activities we did there.
- Then I will explain som things that we did at night.

- After that I will say somthing about the farewell

-And finally I will tell you some interesting things.

I went to canada with a company called KELLS COLEGE. You contract this company and they do everithing for you. They buy your airline ticket, they chose the best school camp and they find for you a residence or a family (you can choose one or the other)

I stayed there with a host family, the harvey’s. They were jamaican. Those are my canadian sister and brother. She is Naomi and he is David. The second week, my family hosted a guy from Quebec. With my host family we did a lot of things, we went to visit an amazing beach in Quebec, we did a barbacue with the neighbours, we went to visit David in a Skate contest, and every Sunday morning we went to the church.

I went to NSL Camps (National school of Languatges) at Elmwood School (Elmwood school is a girl school during the year and in the sumer is an School Camp.

In this camp there were people from around the world (Chinese, Japanese, Colombian, Mexican, French, Quebecois, Russian, Hungarian, some from South Arabia and from Spain). Our schedule was: from Monday to Friday, from 9am to 12:00 pm classes. And in the afternon from 13:30pm to 16:30pm actitvities.

I went to the advanced group, and my teacher was called Holly, but I always called her Molly J The classes were so interesting, we did soome debates, two 15 minutes oral presentation and a 30 minutes oral presentation. We read a book called Saving Private Ryan and the last day we saw the film. We did some pair projects and an exam every week. The last project we did, was to made a Cookbook with the recipies from our countries. And at the end of the week we cooked the easiest one. We cooked fajitas!!

All the people from the camp had to wear a band to identify in wich class they were, and which activitys thei will do in the afternoon. Advanced class had to wear an orange band (like this).
In the afternoon we visited some museums, we played beach volleyball, baseball, american football, basketball, we did a karaoke party, the talent show, the olympics, a mini boat cruise, we visited the parliament and the prime minister house, we went bowling, we did some wather games and a big waterballons fight.
On Saturdays we did a trip. The first Saturday we went to a water park called calipso(it’s the biggest wather park in America), the second we went to Montreal to visit the city and the Biodome (a zoo), the third one, we visited the Aboriginals and the last one we did a barbacue with all the studens from the camp. (This is a pictur of our wonderfull bus. Every Saturday we took this bus to travel around Ontario)

Ottawa’s nightlive. Always we had to arrive before 8pm at home but some days, with the permisiom of our host famili, we arrived late becaus we went to explore Ottawa at night. We went to have dinner at Hard Rock Caffe, another day we saw a light show in the parliament fence, another day we saw some street shows and the last night we went to have dinner in typical restaurant and after that we went on a concert.

The last day, after the classes, we did the graduation. The head teacher(headmaster) gaves us a Certificate saying that we were at NSL Camps studing english for four weeks.

When we had to leave all the people that we met there, everyone start to cry. We met very good friends at NSL. They were so kind and friendly. (This is a picture of NSL Group and another from KELLS and the COLOMBIAN)

And to end my oral presentation I want so say that if you go to Canada you have to eat Timbits from Tim Hortons and drink some iced drink from Second Cup. (This picture is the Second Cup that i had in front of my house) Those are the BEST and the MOST TYPICAL bars in Canada.

Of course I had tell a lot of things but I could tell you much more. I think that it’s an amazing experience that everyone have to live once in his live. Travel somewere alone, it’s a good way to “survive”!!!!!!!!!

A SPECIAL DAY

A special day in my life was on my last birthday party. we had celebrated my party and marina's the same day. We were like 30 persons at Marina's house. We started the party at 5pm and it finished al 10:30pm. It was a swimmingpool party, with waterballons and all that stuff. For breakfast we ate some sandwiches, crisps, ... and for dinner we ate some pizzas and a chocolate birthday cake.

When we finished dinner everyone went back home to have a shower and then we met all together at Chic!! We left Chic at 5:30am.

We had an exciting weekend with all our friends. It was a great party!!

FAIRY TALE (Saint Jordi and the dragon)

Log time ago, in a vilage, there was a king and a queen. the people from the vilage were frightened because there was a dragon wich was very dangerous. The dragon, first ate all the animals from the kingdom, cows, sheeps, pigs, goats... then he ate all the vegetables, carrots, tomatoes, potatoes, cucumber, letuce... but the dragon was still hungry. The king and the queen decided to vote which person he was going to eat every day.

One day it was the princess turn and they couldn't change it. The princes went through the mountains and she waited there for the dragon.

When the dragon nearly had eaten her, Saint Jordi appeared!!!!! He fought against the dragon and Saint Jordi beat him.

From the dragon's blod a rose grew up, and he gave it as a present to the princes.

They fell in love and all the kingdom reasted in peace.
